Wetterdatenübertragung mit Digital Audio Broadcasting

Interaktive und dynamische Darstellungen von Wetterprognosen sollen in Zusammenarbeit mit der Digitalradio-Nord GmbH für mobile Endgeräte verfügbar gemacht werden. Wir geben daher zunächst eine kurze Einführung, wie eine dynamische und interaktive Darstellung einer Wetterprognose aussehen kann. Hauptproblem für die Darstellung auf mobilen Endgeräten ist die Datenübertragung. Als Übertragungsweg haben wir uns für DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) entschieden. Hierbei sind verschiedene Aspekte zu berücksichtigen, wie z.B. Datenaufkommen, Fehlerkorrektur oder die Verfügbarkeit geeigneter Endgeräte.
